| This
growing group of works is inspired by every day life scenes in
Tegucigalpa, Honduras; where many people work on the streets performing
very humble and low income jobs. My purpose is not so much to make a
representation of these scenes and their protagonists but to express
something about their human condition and the nature of their lives.
These paintings are also impregnated with my deep thoughts and feelings
for these people, among whom a grew up and that are part of a country,
as I am, that faces many social, economic and political challenges. |
