NEW
WORKS AND UPCOMING EXHIBITION: Juan
is working on a series of paintings inspired in his memories of life and
people from Honduras. You can see his work in progress in the galleryTierra y Memoria (Ground and Memory). With these works Juan is
preparing for his first solo show that is going to open at Galería
Molino Rojo (Red Mill Gallery) in Tegucigalpa, November 25th 2010.
HONORABLE
MENTION AWARD :
Juan is proud to have received an honorable mention award for his
painting "Figures on the escalator". This piece is part
of the monthly show of members of Art League for July. The juror for
this show was Howard Paine, former art director of National Geographic.
Juan presented two paintings of his Dark City series
at Studio
Gallery, as an invited artist. The paintings
were be on display from May 26th
trough June 19th 2010.

TRABAJOS Y EXHIBICIÓN VENIDERA :
Juan está trabajando en una serie de pintura inspiradas en sus memorias
de la vida y la gente en Honduras. Su trabajo en progreso puede
apreciarce en la galeria Tierra y Memoria.
Con esta serie, Juan se prepara para su primer exhibición individual
que abrirán en la Galería Molino Rojo en Tegucigalpa el 25 de Noviembre 2010.

HONORÍFICA:
Juan se enorgullece de haber recibido una Mención Honorifica por
su obra "Figures on the escalator". Con esta pintura,
participa actualmente
en la exhibición de miembros de Art League para el mes de Julio. El
jurado para esta exhibición fue Howard Paine, antiguo director de arte
para National Geopraphic.
Juan
ha presentado dos pinturas en Studio Gallery como artista
invitado por la galería.
Las obras, que son parte de la serie Dark City; se
mostraron entre Mayo 26 y Junio 19 2010.
